It is possible to have safe roads AND protect majestic old growth for future generations. It IS doable. The call is to RETHINK a DECADES OLD plan. Would you want to have a medical procedure that was designed in the 80s?
The idea is simply to WAIT on the clear cut: use the time wisely... Wait till the Chelsea part is finished (8-12 months) before clear cutting the Wakefield section. Hopefully a solution can be found. Please consider the thinking and info at http://www.a5x.org

In regards to LIVES NOT TREES I would not worry too much about the publicity hounds who roam this area and come to roost in Wakefield... for they do not speak for any elected majority or group .They represent a clique who bomb what ever media they can with there world view of paranoid fears... of dohnuts causing ice caps to melt .... roads only being built for no good reason but to cut down two helpless trees and poison springs .They cover themselves in the cloak of Wakefield whether they live here or not... as if the homes they live in were not once prime forest and the laneways they use to them existed that way forever. We need not worry about them they are preaching only to the converted and the false religion they turn their eco concerns into exist in a.... pat yourself on the back for the latest press coverage heaven . Not in the blood of victims past and to come on the 105. This interests them not in their crusades against the infidel progress.. They come up with theatrical farces one after another to stop the wicked devil road 5 ..............entertaining questionable... effective beyond their email list ?..........................ps. remember paranoia is often accompanied by illusions of grandeur
